Built for entertaining and lifestyle across all seasons, this resort-style home in Hendra Brisbane now offers a range of different indoor and outdoor areas for relaxation and rejuvenation, cooking and hospitality, and for the gathering of family and friends.
The project saw the interior of the architecturally designed, 1980s home renovated and an assortment of indoor | outdoor living areas built on an adjacent block following the removal of another house.
The colour grey was used to provide a ‘neutral’ base throughout with the tiled flooring running through the L-shaped house connecting all areas seamlessly. Grey marble benchtops and bronze tapware were also features throughout.
The home offers a range of formal and informal entertainment areas (four separate outdoor spaces in fact) to suit all tastes including an out-of-weather sitting area featuring a teppanyaki plate and fireplace; a rumpus room including a bar and bordered on two sides by wooden glass sliders that can be fully opened or closed; and a pool area. A grassed lawn area separates the main part of the house from the cluster of outdoor entertaining areas.
